Dessen Philanthropies was established in loving memory of Anna, Moritz Gedaliah Dessen, who tragically perished in the Holocaust and Judith (Davidowitz) Dessen, our founder’s beloved grandmother. Their lives were cut short, but their legacy endures as a beacon of hope, resilience, and compassion in a world that they dreamed could be kinder and more just.
